Hazing is a ritual observed in a brotherhood before someone became an official member. It has also challenges and activities including abuse, harassment, and humiliation as a way of initiating a person to enter a club, fraternity, or a sorority. But as for many colleges and universities, hazing is often prohibited by their laws because this may contain physical and psychological abuse to a person.

News around the world involving hazing seems to be like a normal situation. Hundreds of teenagers and students are reported that they have undergone a series of initiation and hazing. The most used method in hazing is known as the Spanking. It is done mainly in the form of paddling among fraternities, sororities and clubs. Sometimes over a lap, a knee, furniture or a pillow, but mostly simply bending over forward.
